Banana Pepper Poppers (Dinner 7/27 - Part 2)

Yum, yum, yum!
Any recipe that one of the main ingredients
is BACON, you know it is a great recipe!

The other night I placed a status on Facebook
wondering about what to do with some leftover
banana peppers.  My good friend, Spring K, 
came to the rescue for me.
I owe her a BIG thank you for sharing 
this link with me.  This recipe will now
be a family staple!

Now on to the recipe!


Banana Pepper Poppers
Recipe adapted from

Hot Banana Peppers
Bacon (WOO HOO!)
Cream Cheese

1.  Rinse and clean the banana peppers.
I used 6 for tonight's dinner.
REMEMBER - Wear your gloves while
cleaning the peppers!!





2.  Once peppers are cleaned, fill each pepper
half with cream cheese.  I used 12 oz (1-8oz block
and 1-4oz block) of cream cheese.


3.  Once peppers are stuffed, wrap each one
with a piece of bacon.  The original recipe
called for 1/3 of piece.  Yea right -- LOL!
It would hardly cover half of the pepper.




4.  After all peppers are wrapped,
bake in 375 degree oven until 
bacon is crispy.

All I can say is YUMMY!!
This recipe is the best one I have ever cooked!
One of the best parts is that the cream cheese
that "leaks" out, develops a great flavor.
Not only do you get the flavor from the bacon but
the pepper as well.

  1. Mix a little cheddar in with the cream cheese and it is AWESOME!!
