Lipton Onion Potatoes

If I haven't said it before, let me say it now.
I love Pinterest! I could spend hours upon hours
on Pinterest "pinning" recipes and all sorts of other things.

So of course, I found this recipe on Pinterest a little while back.
I love the blog that this recipe came from:
"Made From Pinterest."
She tries a lot of things from Pinterest and then blogs
about her experiences. I would highly recommend checking
the blog out at www.madefrompinterest.net.

This was one of the side dishes for tonight's dinner.
The son has already asked for these again.
That makes me happy. I love it when my men like
my cooking.

Lipton Onion Potatoes

You will need:

Potatoes - I used 6
2 sticks of butter
2 envelopes Lipton Onion Soup mix

Wash potatoes and thinly slice them with a mandaloin

Lay them in a 9x13 pan

Cut up the sticks of butter and microwave to melt

Add onion soup mix to melted butter

Pour mixture over potatoes

Cover with foil and cook for 45 minutes

Potatoes should be fork tender when done

These were really great. I can see making these for
family gatherings and other events. Plus, these would be
great for lazy weekend meals.

Special note - I have to give a big thank you
to the hubby for slicing the potatoes. Mandolins
scare me to death. I know, I know. I need to
get over this fear but for now I just say,
"Thank you honey!"

Hope you enjoy!

Love to you all from
The Busy Cookin' WV Momma!
