Garlic Steak Bites

Ahh, steak! How the Johnson clan loves you!
Before Johnny J's surgery, some type of beef was on
the menu all the time. Now, it is a once in a while option.
That is why meals like tonight's are even better!

I found this recipe on my favorite site.
Can anyone guess? If you said Pinterest,
you get the prize. Of course, I had to put my own
twist on the recipe. The orignal recipe can be found

I paired this main dish with Ranch Potatoes and
Butter Ranch Onions & Mushrooms. I will be posting
the recipes for these great side dishes later this week.

Garlic Steak Bites

You will need:

Sirloin steak (I used two steaks weighing
 approx. 2 1/2 lbs total)
3/4 stick of butter
3 to 4 Tbsp of minced garlic
Salt and Pepper
1 1/2 Tbsp of corn starch

1. Cut the steak into bite size pieces.
Trim away most of the fat.

2. In a large pan, add butter and garlic.
Melt butter over med-high heat.

3. Once butter is melted, add the steak to the pan.

4. Cook steak until doneness reaches your
family's desired preference. The Johnson Clan
is a medium rare kinda of family.

5. Move steak to the outside edges.
Add cornstarch and continue cooking until
the sauce thickens.

Here is the finished product pictured
with my yummy side dishes.

The men and Ireally liked this dinner. I also liked it
because of how easy itwas to prepare. This would be a
great busy weeknight meal.

I hope you enjoy!

Oh, before I leave you, I have to share one more photo.
My men, for the most part, are in the kitchen with me
when I am cooking. Tonight, I had to snap this picture
of my hubby while he assisted me. I don't know
if he thought he was outside cooking or what, but his
head gear is hilarious.

Love to you all from the
Busy Cookin' WV Momma!
