New Chicken Recipe Still Needs Work

Raise your hand if you have ever had a failure in the kitchen?
Oh, come on. No one is watching and I promise I will
not tell. Kitchen failures sometimes turn out
to be really great recipes later. Not every recipe out
the gate is going to be great. There is always going
to be trail and error. Well, tonight was one
of my trail and error nights.

I wanted to try something new with boneless,
skinless chicken thighs. I knew I wanted to
do some kind of soy sauce based glaze. I also
knew I wanted to use Lipton Onion Soup Mix.
I thought, "that sounds pretty good."
Boy, did I think wrong. 



Holy salt Batman!!
Between the soup mix and the soy sauce,
I think I gave my family a dose of high blood
pressure tonight.

I will say though, the chicken did not have
a bad flavor once you scraped off the seasoning. 
Also, it wasn't as salty. However, when I took
a bite with the seasoning, I felt I needed to drink
an entire bottle of water LOL!

I know where I went wrong. I think I know
how to fix it for the next time. So, I am not
going to say it was a complete failure.
I am going to call it a half failure because
it technically was still eatable.
