Ham Broccoli Pea Pot Pie Recipe

Nothing says comfort food to me than a pot pie. I love digging into the pot pie and seeing all the yummy goodness waiting under the crust.

I wanted to try something new this time when making my pot pie. I had some broccoli in the freezer that I wanted to use and the ideas began flowing. I first thought of making a ham and broccoli bake. Then I thought I want a pot pie. So, this recipe was born!

It is a quick and easy recipe to put together. Also, this recipe could be made ahead. You could mix all the ingredients together in the morning, place it in the baking dish and put it in your refrigerator. Then put the crust on when you are ready to bake. That way you save time in the evening rush!

Now on to the recipe!

You will need:

12 oz cooked, cubed ham
12 oz bag broccoli cuts, thawed
15 oz can peas, drained
10 3/4 oz can Cheddar Cheese soup
10 1/2 oz can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 Crescent Recipe Creations Dough Sheet

In a large mixing bowl, add the cream of mushroom soup

and cheddar cheese soup.

Whisk to combine. Now, let's begin adding our spices. Add in the minced garlic

Onion powder

Cumin

Salt and Pepper.

Whisk everything together until well combined.

Now add in your peas,

broccoli,

and ham.

Give everything a good stir to make sure everything is well combined.

Pour into 9X13 baking dish.

Top pot pie mixture with crust. Make sure sides are sealed.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.

Serve with alone or with your favorite side dish.

This is good served alone. I think a side of mashed potatoes or a simply salad would be a great addition also. The flavors were wonderful. I think the cumin really sets off everything.

I hope you enjoy!!!

Love to you all from The Busy Cooking Momma!
