Cinnamon Peach Cobbler

Ahh, summer! There are so many great things about summer. However, my favorite thing will always be going to the farmer's market and picking up fresh produce. That to me is the best part of summer. While on a recent trip to Capitol Market, my local farmer's market, I found several booths selling
some gorgeous looking peaches. The wheels in my head got turning and I knew I had to create something with these beauties.

Once I got home, I remembered I had received a sample of Sweet Cinnamon butter in my sampler pack from Epicurean Butter. The first thing that came to my mind at that point was a cobbler. So, stepping out of my comfort zone a little, I created a fabulous Cinnamon Peach Cobbler that I think you are going to love!

Now on to the recipe!

You will need:
5 peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 3.5oz tubs Epicurean Butter Sweet Cinnamon flavor
1 box white cake mix

In a large skillet, melt 4 Tbsp of butter.

Once butter is melted, add in sliced peaches.

Now, add in brown sugar.

Stir well to make sure all peaches are coated. Cook for 5 minutes.

Pour the peaches and juices into a 9X13 prepared baking dish.

Top peaches with dry cake mix.

Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of butter across the top of the cake mix. Make sure to cover well.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes until done.

Serve as is or with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Oh My Goodness!! The smell that wafted through my house, as I was cooking, was AMAZING! My entire house smelled of cinnamon. My men loved this cobbler and kept raving about it. Seriously, I have never had The Cooking Hubby go on and on about a dessert I have made. It made my extremely happy that he and the son liked it so much. I hope you and your family enjoy the dessert as well!

Love to you all from The Busy Cooking Momma!

Disclosure: Sweet Cinnamon butter was received from Epicurean Butter to review. All opinions and text are my own.
