20 Freezer Meals: Creamy Buffalo Ranch Chicken

We have all heard of buffalo chicken dip. It is one of my favorite party foods. I love the creaminess and the spice of the dish. That dip is the inspiration for this AMAZING recipe.

If you love big, bold flavors then you are going to LOVE this recipe. The chicken, covered with ranch, lends well to the buffalo sauce, cream cheese and butter of the sauce. The ingredients come together to deliver a delicious meal that is sure to become a favorite in your household.

Now, on to the recipe!

Creamy Buffalo Ranch Chicken
20 Freezer Meals

This recipe will give you TWO gallon freezer bag meals.

You will need:
16 chicken thighs (8)
2 packets ranch dressing mix (1)
2 bottles buffalo wing sauce (1)
2 8oz blocks of cream cheese, cubed (1)
Stick of butter (when you are ready to cook the meal)

In a gallon size freezer bag, place the chicken thighs.

Add in the ranch dressing mix.

Shake the bag to coat the chicken with the dressing mix.

Now add in the buffalo wing sauce

and the cream cheese.

Seal the bag and mix all the ingredients together. Remove as much air from the bag as possible and reseal. Freeze the bags.

Cooking Directions: Thaw the bag in the refrigerator over night. Dump the bag into the slow cooker. Cut the butter into slices. Place the butter over the top of the chicken mixture. Cook on LOW for 6 hours. Once cooking is done, remove the chicken and shred. Ladle some of the sauce over the chicken. Stir to combine. Serve over noodles.

We loved this recipe! My hubby kept saying how good it was and how impressed he was with the meal. I call that a huge win. We all really enjoyed the flavor from this dish and I know you will too!

  • 16 chicken thighs (8)

2. Pour in the the ranch dressing packet.
3. Shake the bag to coat the chicken.
4. Now, add the buffalo wing sauce and cream cheese.
5. Close the bag and mix the ingredients together.
6. Remove as much air as possible from the bag. Reseal and freeze.
Cooking Directions
1. Thaw the bag in the refrigerator over night.
2. Dump the bag into the slow cooker.
3. Cut the butter into slices and place over the top of the chicken mixture.
4. Cook on LOW for 6 hours.
5. Once cooking is done, remove the chicken and shred.
6. Ladle some of the sauce over the chicken. Stir to combine.
7. Serve over noodles. Enjoy!
